No new theatrical releases this week, but a ton on video, including a couple of direct-to-video sequels of theatrical hits.
Addiction
After accidentally killing a mugger, a man finds that he's become addicted to murder. Unfortunately, there's no patch for that.
Beastly Boyz: A Twisted Tale of Revenge
Gay horror auteur David DeCoteau's latest offering finds a young, attractive and frequently shirtless man seeking revenge for the death of his twin sister.
Boogeyman 2
Tobin Bell of Saw fame stars in this straight-to-video sequel about a woman who checks into a mental hospital to cure her fear of the Boogeyman. Her bedwetting, however, is another issue.
Days of Darkness
A comet strikes Earth, setting it on fire and creating a horde of flesh-eating zombies in its wake. I wish I'd paid more attention in astronomy class.
The Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Rock 'n Roll Musical
In the vein of The Rocky Horror Picture Show comes this horror musical that's a little bit campy, a little bit rock 'n roll.
Dragon Wars
This hit South Korean special effects extravaganza finds ancient dragons waging war in modern Los Angeles. It can't be worse than the Godzilla remake, can it?
The Expedition
Supposedly culled from footage taken at a haunted asylum on a night in which one of the filmmakers met his maker, could this be Blair Witch 3?
Joshua
A couple begins to suspect that their son might be evil -- not in a Damien, son of Satan sort of way, but in a might-kill-his-baby sister sort of way. Think Macaulay Culkin in The Good Son.
The Killing Floor
A horror novel agent becomes involved in a horror story of his own when he moves into an eerie apartment that may have been the site of a bloody murder. Even when he begins to receive videotapes of himself sleeping, he refuses to move out, because, well, that would make for an awfully short movie.
