I'm not fundamentally opposed to revisiting horror movies -- in fact, some remakes can actually improve on the originals -- but do we need 10, 15, 20 a year? At this rate, they'll be scraping the bottom of the barrel before we know it: Manos: The Hands of Fate '09?

- A zombie epic without Will Smith or computer-generated zombies
- An Academy Award for horror, or at least a Golden Globe
- No more PG-13 tween horror
