'Predator' Movie Franchise

A military mission led by Dutch Shaeffer thinks it’s rescuing a government official held captive in a Guatemalan jungle, but it turns out they were pawns in a CIA plot to destroy a rebel base. When the soldiers begin to die mysteriously, Dutch turns his anger from the CIA to the unseen threat. An alien creature is hunting them for sport, using advanced technology to turn itself invisible and to “see” its targets with thermal imaging. The team is killed one by one until only Dutch is left. He masks himself from thermal imaging with mud and crushes the alien with a booby trapped log. Before it dies, the creature triggers a bomb that destroys much of the jungle...but not Dutch, who’s rescued by a helicopter, along with a local female hostage.

In 1997 Los Angeles, an alien hunter is drawn to the raging conflict between rival gangs and police. It kills gang members on both sides, attracting the attention of policeman Michael Harrigan. He follows the trail of bodies, realizing that the invisible creature attacks only those who are armed. As he closes in, he’s detained by government agents who’ve been tracking such alien encounters since Dutch’s experience 10 years earlier. The alien kills the agents and battles Michael through the city as he follows it to its spaceship. He finally kills the alien with one of its own weapons, at which point several other aliens reveal themselves and carry away the body, respectfully giving Michael an antique gun as a trophy for his victory.

A research team guided by Alexa Woods arrives on an Antarctic island to investigate a heat source beneath the surface. They discover an ancient pyramid buried beneath the ice and unwittingly awaken a Xenomorph alien queen inside, which begins laying eggs. As Predator aliens arrive, the hatched embryos impregnate several humans, who give birth to more Xenomorphs. The other humans realize that the Predators come to the pyramid as a rite of passage to hunt Xenomorphs. The aliens battle, and the lone remaining Predator teams with Alexa to blow up the pyramid and drown the queen. The Predator dies, and others appear to retrieve his body and give Alexa a victory spear. As their spaceship leaves, an alien hybrid bursts out of the dead Predator.

The Predalien hybrid born on the Predator ship as it leaves Antarctica causes it to crash outside a small Colorado town. The Predators die, and the Predalien escapes, along with Xenomorph specimens that impregnate locals, giving birth to several Xenomorphs. A Predator from the home planet receives a distress signal and arrives, tracking and killing the other aliens as they prey on humans in town. The Predator battle the Predalien at a hospital as four human survivors escape in a helicopter just as the military bombs the town, killing all life. The helicopter crashes, and the survivors are rescued by the military, which confiscates a Predator weapon and gives it to Ms. Yutani, the head of the company in the first Alien movie.

A group of rough-and-tumble Earthlings -- soldiers, criminals and the like (plus a geeky doctor named Edwin) -- are dropped, literally, on an alien planet. They're attacked first by some large alien dog-like creatures and then by their Predator masters, who use a smaller Predator tied up as bait to lure the humans. American mercenary Royce, who assumes the lead of the group, comes to realize they're prey on a large alien game preserve of sorts. They meet a human soldier named Nolan who's survived on the planet for years by scavenging. He reveals that that the Predators bring great warriors to this location to keep their hunting skills sharp, adding that there is a feud between the larger and smaller Predators. Nolan tries to kill them and take their possessions, but he attracts the attention of the Predators, who blow him up. Royce returns to free the small Predator used as bait, hoping it can take them home. However, he misses his chance when he decides to help Edwin and sniper Isabelle, who have been caught in a trap. It turns out Edwin is a serial killer, who tries to kill them both, but Royce thwarts him and ends up killing him. Royce then battles the remaining large Predator (who fought and killed the small one that Royce freed) and chops his head off. Royce and Isabelle walk off into the sunset as more Predator victims come falling from the sky on parachutes.
