New Horror/Suspense Releases in Theaters and on DVD: Week of September 11, 2011

I'm not sure what pro wrestler Maria Kanellis has to do with horror movies, but here she hosts this double feature of '70s horror fare. In Love Me Deadly (1972), a coven of devil-worshiping necrophiliacs take up residence in a funeral home. In Curious Case of the Campus Corpse (1977), a fraternity hazing prank turns deadly.

The so-bad-it's-good cult classic Manos: The Hands of Fate gets the special edition treatment from the mockery aficionados at MST3K -- including the original film, the 1993 MST3K episode, a documentary and other extras.

The third season of the SyFy series about a group of experts who provide sanctuary to supernatural beings typically dubbed ''monsters."

In the Uruguayan film The Silent House (La Casa Muda), Laura and her father Wilson settle down in a cottage they have to renew since its owner will soon put the house up for sale. They will spend the night there and repair the following morning. Everything seems to go smoothly until Laura hears a sound that comes from outside and gets louder and louder on the upper floor of the house.
