Pathology opens in limited release this week, while on DVD, Aliens and Predators do battle over a requiem, for some reason.
Pathology
A new pathology intern (Milo Ventimiglia) discovers that his fellow interns at the hospital are playing a deadly game after hours with the goal of committing the perfect murder.
Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem
Picking up where Alien vs. Predator left off, an Alien-Predator hybrid ("Predalien") aboard the Predator ship leaving Earth causes it to crash land in a small Colorado town, spilling Aliens everywhere. A Predator from the home planet (Predatopia?) receives the distress signal and comes to save the day. For some reason, he doesn't bring backup.
The Curse of Lizzie Borden II: Prom Night
No doubt we all know the story of the first The Curse of Lizzie Borden...Oh wait, no we don't. It seems that the first one concerned a woman named Cassie who went on an axe rampage, thinking that she was famed murderer Lizzie Borden. Now, in this sequel, Cassie is locked away in the loony bin but manages to escape and once again goes on a killing spree, this time ending up at a high school prom.
Fan of the Dead
In this hour-long documentary, a French zombie fanboy makes a trek to the zombie Promised Land -- Pennsylvania -- in order to trace the events of George Romero's first three Dead films. Hey ladies, he's single!
Freaks & Deviants Vol. 2
A seven-pack of films from the low-budget vaults of Tempe Video, featuring The Red Skulls, The Feral Man, Bent Vol. 2, Midnight Skater, Dead & Rotting, Filthy McNastier and, of course, Filthy McNastiest.
Inside (À l'intérieur)
In this French shocker, a pregnant woman survives a car crash but later finds herself tormented by a mysterious woman who seems determined to go after her unborn child...with scissors!
Kinky Killers
Michael Pare stars as a cop investigating satanic murders in which body parts have been removed from -- and tattoos have been added to -- the victims. Charles Durning and a lot of kinky sex are involved somehow, though hopefully never in the same scene.
Loch Ness Terror
If you thought that the Loch Ness Monster was a peaceful creature who just wants to be left alone, this Sci Fi Channel offering might change your mind. It's carnivorous, it has a bad attitude and it just had babies.
Queen Cobra
A college student looking for a little extra credit from her science professor unwittingly becomes a guinea pig in his experiments that fuse her DNA with that of a snake. Let's hope she doesn't run into his mongoose woman.
Retribution
The producer of The Ring, The Grudge and Dark Water and the director of Pulse and Cure team up for something completely new and different for Japanese horror: a murder mystery featuring a pale, long-haired female ghost! OK, maybe it's not so new and different (although this time she's wearing a red dress), but that doesn't mean it's not good.
