Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters finished in first place at the box office over the weekend, although its estimated $19 million total was underwhelming (especially considering elevated 3D ticket prices) and below most predictions. That said, it's still ahead of the pace of last year's similarly themed genre mashup Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, which earned only $16.3 million in its opening weekend.
