Reincarnate, the second film in the M. Night Shyamalan-produced Night Chronicles series (following 2010's Devil), was announced two and a half years ago (under the name Twelve Strangers), and since that time, the series' website has stated the film will shoot in 2011. Now, after an extended period of inactivity, Shyamalan has tweeted that it will finally begin production in 2013 -- two years later than planned. He didn't name the film, which might imply that it's gone through yet another title change, but presumably the plot is the same: "While deciding the fate of an accused murderer, a jury is haunted by supernatural forces that hold the key to the case." Last we heard, Reincarnate was written by Chris Sparling (Buried, ATM) and was to be directed by Daniel Stamm (The Last Exorcism).
