"I'll see you in Hell, ABC..."
The writing on the wall was arguably there from the very first episode, based on its mediocre ratings and on ABC's lack of patience with genre shows (R.I.P., The River, Eastwick, The Gates, Happy Town, etc.), but now it's official: 666 Park Avenue has been cancelled. The fact that the series fell steadily in the ratings each episode -- from 7 million down to 4 million viewers -- sealed its fate. There is some good news, though: ABC will at least air the remaining six episodes (13 total) before presumably replacing it with a new midseason show in January.
