Although it's going straight to home video on December 4 (with a nominal theatrical release the Friday before), I'm more hopeful for Silent Night, the remake of the controversial 1984 slasher Silent Night Deadly Night, than I was for many big-screen horror remakes in recent years. Why? Well, besides the fact that I have a soft spot in my heart for killer Santas, the new trailer just looks darn fun.
