First a new title, then a new poster, and now we have a new image from Texas Chainsaw 3D -- and appropriately enough, it's of the iconic serial-killing, skinned face-wearing cannibal Leatherface. We only see him from behind, but it's fair to say that, given the story is supposed to take place "decades" after the events in the 1974 original, Leatherface looks to be in awfully good shape for someone who's probably in his 50s or 60s. Must be P90X.
The original Leatherface, played by Gunnar Hansen (who, incidentally, is actually in his 60s but doesn't reprise his role in this sequel -- although he has another smaller role), was decidedly doughy, but I suppose nowadays audiences want their villains to have a six-pack, not a beer belly. Oh well. Watch Leatherface get ripped when Texas Chainsaw 3D hits theaters on January 4, 2013.
