- Werewolf: The Beast Among Us: Originally conceived as another "reboot" of the Wolf Man franchise, Universal instead creates a whole new story about a creature terrorizing a 19th century European village by moonlight. Steven Bauer, Nia Peeples, Stephen Rea and Ed Quinn star.
October 11:
- Prometheus: Ridley Scott's sort-of-prequel to Alien is set to confuse even more people this fall.

November 6:
- The Pact: A young woman encounters a supernatural force when she comes to stay in her recently deceased mother's house.
November 13:
- Vamps: From the director of Clueless comes this horror-comedy about two vampires (Alicia Silverstone and Krysten Ritter) looking for love in all the wrong places. Sigourney Weaver, RIchard Lewis, Marilu Henner and Kristin Johnson also appear in the star-studded cast.
