For those of you who've seen Prometheus and felt left in the lurch by the ending, it should come as little surprise -- and a lot of relief -- that 20th Century is moving ahead with plans for a sequel. The Hollywood Reporter reports that Michael Fassbender and Noomi Rapace have already signed on to reprise their roles but that writer Damon Lindelof may not return due to potential scheduling issues. The rather vague target date right now for Prometheus 2 is "2014 or 2015." But don't be surprised if all the questions left dangling by the first film aren't answered in the sequel, as director Ridley Scott has reportedly conceived of Prometheus as a trilogy.
