As expected, the action-horror hybrid Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter had limited success at the box office in its opening weekend, finishing in third place with around $16.3 million. That figure is good for a genre film, but subpar for a summer blockbuster -- especially one with elevated 3-D ticket prices. However, with a relatively modest (for a blockbuster) $70 million budget, we can't relegate Abraham Lincoln to Battleship-like flop status.
