Two staples of the CW network's genre lineup are returning for another season: Supernatural will be back for its eighth season this fall, while The Vampire Diaries will return for its fourth round. This news should come as little surprise, given they are two of the network's highest-rated shows. Conversely, freshman series The Secret Circle is experiencing falling ratings, and thus its future is uncertain. Final word on its fate will be announced within the next two weeks.
