Business-wise, it shouldn't come as a surprise that a sequel to the 2011 hit Insidious is in the works, given it was one of the top-grossing horror movies of the year despite a budget of only $1.5 million. Creatively, Insidious 2 might be a bit more problematic; even though the original film ended on something of a cliffhanger, it might be difficult to recreate the scary magic for a second go 'round. That said, at least the sequel is in the right hands: Leigh Whannell is back on board as writer, and it's expected that his longtime partner James Wan will return to direct. Production will begin later this year, with a 2013 release expected. So, what do you think? Where do you see the story going?
