Jennifer's Body, the highly publicized starring vehicle for Megan Fox, failed to capitalize on her sex appeal in its opening weekend, earning only around $6.9 million, good enough for only fifth place. The outcome was better than last weekend's dismal performances by Sorority Row and Whiteout, but that's not saying much. With Halloween approaching, though, there'll be plenty more opportunities for horror movies to get back on track at the box office.

Jennifer’s Body was a fun movie, that didn’t try to take itself too seriously.
Similar to an 80s teen movie, but stil enjoyable for those not of teen age.
It makes fun of itself, it makes fun of pop culture, and has some witty dialogue, all without trying to be a jerk aobut it.
A fun time if you like the classic horror genre.
A Mega-Ton of people saw Transformers 1 and 2, but that doesn’t always mean they were good…..
If you like smart, but campy movies, then you’ll probably like Jennifer’s Body.
