August 4:
This remake of the '70s nature-gone-amok film
Long Weekend has been renamed
Nature's Grave for some reason and is going straight to video. At least it still stars Jim Caviezel.
August 18:
A passable remake of the
Wes Craven exploitation movie.
September 8:
It's the 21st century
X-Files, with slightly more narrative cohesion (so far).
Harper's Island: The Complete Series: Experience this enjoyable TV show in one sitting, like a 13-hour slasher movie.
September 15:
We never got to see the last few episodes of this NBC horror anthology last year (thanks a lot, Olympics), but now you can get 'em all in one set.
Grace: After her unborn child dies, a woman insists on carrying the baby to term. When she delivers, the child miraculously returns to life -- with a taste for human blood.
September 22:
Based on a Clive Barker story, this film involves a bogus psychic who fakes messages from the dead but discovers to his dismay that the dead have notoriously poor senses of humor.
October 6:
