Director Named for Haunting in Connecticut Sequel

Contrary to a previous report, it looks like the first sequel to The Haunting in Connecticut will be The Haunting in Georgia, based on the Discovery Channel's A Haunting in Georgia -- about a family whose young daughter befriends a ghostly man in their new house. Ti West, who's made a name for himself as writer/director of indie horror films like The Roost and Trigger Man, plus the upcoming The House of the Devil and Cabin Fever 2, has been named as director -- a big step up from his usual direct-to-video fare.
