Predator Sequel to Be Directed by Neil Marshall?

Fanboys grab your inhalers...Bloody-Disgusting.com is reporting that Neil Marshall, director of The Descent and most recently, Doomsday, is "in close talks" to helm the upcoming Predator sequel, Predators. With one film already in post-production (the Roman period action piece Centurion) and another (the heist thriller Drive) in production currently, you have to wonder if Marshall has time to direct Predators, which is being fast-tracked for a summer 2010 release.

But certainly, if anyone can be trusted with a respected creature feature franchise like Predator, it's Marshall, whose Dog Soldiers can be seen as Predator with werewolves.
