Bloody-Disgusting.com is reporting that there won't be a sequel to
The Haunting in Connecticut...There'll be TWO sequels to
The Haunting in Connecticut. That's right; we're talking trilogy. Like the original, the sequels will be based on episodes of the Discovery Channel TV show
A Haunting, with the second film -- tentatively titled
The Haunting in New York -- based on the episode "The Diabolical" and the third film based on the episode "A Haunting in Georgia." This means it would be one of the few movie franchises with completely different casts in each film, which could help keep the content fresh.
Of course, if the second and third films prove popular, you can bet there'll be more. After all, there were 39 (!) episodes of A Haunting -- meaning it could give the Saw films a run for their money.
