As reported a few weeks ago, the viral website HarpersGlobe.com, used to promote CBS's new slasher-y TV show Harper's Island, has been launched, with the purpose of "introducing online audiences to the mythology of Harper's Island."

The site follows the story of Robin Matthews, a new arrival on Harper's Island who's hired to digitize old news archives for the local newspaper and to build a community on HarpersGlobe.com. In the course of her work, she investigates the murders of six island residents seven years ago by local John Wakefield. Then, the murders begin again, drawing Robin into the story.

A new episode will air each week on the site, and other content will be uploaded daily. Meanwhile, the actual TV show Harper's Island will debut on April 9.
