Now that Scream Queens has ended, it's time for the next horror-themed reality TV show, 13: Fear Is Real. It comes from producer Sam Raimi (the Evil Dead and Spiderman films) and looks to be modeled after a slasher movie, with one contestant "dying" each week during a challenge. (If only more reality shows were structured this way.) See if it's all it's cracked up to be when 13: Fear Is Real airs on The CW on Wednesday, January 7, at 8:00 PM ET/PT.

In other CW programming news, Reaper is scheduled to return with all new episodes on March 17 at 9:00 PM. Set your TiVo!

Honesty, I’m watching it now. The only thing that really got to me was one of them getting trapped in the coffin. I could not stand that, not because i would be scare, because I cant’ stand small places, there hard to breathe, and hot, and I can’t work under pressure like that. I’ve done something like that with one of my parents, and I could move, and my body hurt from trying to squirm around. AH! It was NOT nice.

The show is OK but there’s something that feels fake about it. I just find it hard to believe that they really buried those people alive the way they made it seem. It just seems too dangerous. Plus, the way the young lady just popped out was odd; they never showed how she did it. Plus, the whole attempt to make it seem like they’re alone with only hidden cameras (when there are clearly cameramen) makes it feel fake. Still, it’s watchable; I like the aspect with one of them being a “killer” — sort of like The Mole.
