Rob Zombie's Halloween 2?...Minus Rob Zombie?

Accoring to DreadCentral.com, a sequel to Rob Zombie's Halloween will begin shooting in March 2009, but Zombie himself seems to be uninvolved. Whether that's good news or not remains to be seen, but possible nominees for the job include the helmers of the French gorefest Inside, which would promise an "interesting" take on the Michael Myers mythos. I'll keep my fingers crossed, because the track record for sequels to remakes hasn't been good (The Hills Have Eyes 2, The Ring 2, The Grudge 2, Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning).
