True Blood Renewed for Season 2!

Although only two episodes have aired, HBO has already renewed True Blood for a second season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Although the debut didn't get boffo ratings, the second episode's viewership grew by 24%. Even better news for fans: you won't have to wait a full year for the next season, which will air in the summer of 2009! Although I've found the first two episode interesting, I've yet to truly get into the show -- but again, it's early. We'll see if I get drawn in more by the overall murder mystery plot than by the love story.
