Brutal Massacre DVD Review: Brutally Funny

Brtual Massacre: A Comedy, due on DVD next week, is an often-spot-on mockumentary not only about horror movies, but about the filmmaking process as a whole. Writer/directer Stevan Mena (Malevolence) appropriately casts a handful of genre vets, including David Naughton (An American Werewolf in London), Gunnar Hansen (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Ken Foree (Dawn of the Dead) and Ellen Sandweiss (The Evil Dead), not to mention familiar faces Brian O'Halloran (Clerks) and Gerry Bednob (The 40-Year-Old Virgin) in this entertaining send-up.
