New This Week: High-End DVDs

There aren't many horror DVDs coming out this week, but almost all of them are "high-end" fare from major studios, led by Shutter and Asylum from 20th Century Fox, Insanitarium (Sony), Guardians (Warner Bros.), Steel Trap (Dimension) and Trapped Ashes (Lions Gate). Major-studio releases tend to be some of the best direct-to-video movies, meaning they're bad by theatrical standards but good by DVD standards.
