VH1 Looking for a "Scream Queen"

According to The Hollywood Reporter, VH1 has ordered 8 episodes of a new reality show airing this fall called Scream Queens (Remember when they used to play music?). The show is a competition pitting 10 unknown actresses against each other in an effort to win a "major" (not specifically "starring") role in an upcoming Lions Gate horror movie.

Of course, Lions Gate's horror output varies wildly in quality, from theatrical releases like The Descent and the Saw series to low-budget, straight-to-video releases like Side Sho (pictured). I'm guessing the movie in question will be more like the latter. Whoever the winner is, though, should make sure her contract stipulates that Uli Lommel (or, as I like to call him, Uwe Boll with no budget) does not direct.
