Frontier(s) to Hit Theaters -- and DVD -- in May
Wednesday February 13, 2008
Frontier(s), the controversial French shocker that was pulled from the 2007 After Dark HorrorFest because it was too graphic to receive an R rating, will be released theatrically by After Dark films after all. The movie, which revolves around a hotel run by sadistic neo-Nazis (Is there any other kind?), will receive a limited run in theaters May 9-11, but in an unusual move, will hit DVD just a few days later on May 13. Shrooms was released earlier this month with a similar release schedule, but its skimpy theatrical release window of six weeks still dwarfs that of Frontier(s). So, why should you see it in the theater? Because you can.
