Diary of the Dead Contest: Scare the Pants Off George Romero!

...Figuratively speaking, of course. Legendary director George Romero has teamed up with The Weinstein Company and MySpace to offer filmmakers the chance to have their short movies showcased on the DVD release of his latest zombie opus, Diary of the Dead. The competition calls for budding filmmakers to upload a short film (the scarier the better) of three minutes or less to their MySpace profiles. MySpace users will rate the movies, and of the films with the top 10 ratings, Romero will pick the five winners that will have their work featured on the Diary of the Dead DVD -- scheduled for release on May 20.
