New This Week: Straight-to-DVDs!

Theatrical horror movies take a week off, but there's a host of quirky new horror DVDs to fill the void. Heading the pack is the survivalist tale Storm Warning, the latest effort from Jamie Blanks, director of Scream-era slashers Urban Legend and Valentine. (He's currently working on a remake of the Australian nature-gone-amuck film Long Weekend.) Also on tap: a killer crocodile, a killer house, a killer filmmaker, killer aliens and some good old-fashioned killer killers.
